Flannery O’Connor might be most famous for her fiction and nonfiction, but she also drew cartoons. You can see more at The New York Review of Books.
You can hear her read ‘A Good Man is Hard to Find’ here. She gave the reading at Vanderbilt a few years before she died.
Incidentally, as a child, she taught a chicken to walk backwards, which proves that Flannery O’Connor was pretty much an all around amazing human being.
