In the interview at the end she mentions that one form she thought of putting the book in was the course of a day and I think would really make for an interesting to shape the narrative of her memoir. Thematically it might have worked really well.
She sort of goes by the liturgical year but chronologically we have no idea what year she’s in (it jumps back and forth during her marriage and her mother’s death and the years after her divorce). She said in her interview with Tony Jones that she wanted it to go thematically but I think some more chronology would have been helpful.

Interesting. I’ll have to check out her interview with Tony. Girls Meets God, I think follows the liturgical calendar directly. I imagine it adds another level reading around many of the places and people she mentions.
