Evangelical Documentaries
I’m working my way through the applicable ones on this list. The best ones simply let evangelicals and fundamentalists speak for themselves. I’m finding some positive ones next, because a lot of these are pretty negative.
Waiting for Armaggedon (good but upsetting)
Jesus Camp (so good but super upsetting)
Hell House (about as upsetting as you would expect)
The Virgin Daughters (so upsetting, if you’re queasy about the purity movement stuff)
God in America (historical overview; good but kind of slow)
Fall From Grace (good)
Lord Save Us From Your Followers (only ok)
Selling God (ok)
The Education of Shelby Knox (ok)
The Most Hated Family in America + America’s Most Hated Family in Crisis (ok)
Friends of God (ok)
For the Bible Tells Me So (ok)
I also watched some on Mormons like 8: The Mormon Proposition (pretty good).
